What WerkTrip collects
WerkTrip may collect the account details you provide, trip names, dates, destinations, crew membership, itinerary stops, shared planning notes, ShareTab receipt information, and profile preferences needed to operate the app.
This page explains the privacy basics for WerkTrip accounts, trip planning, ShareTab, public sharing, marketing preferences, and copyright-sensitive uploads.
WerkTrip may collect the account details you provide, trip names, dates, destinations, crew membership, itinerary stops, shared planning notes, ShareTab receipt information, and profile preferences needed to operate the app.
Trip data is used to show your planner, coordinate crew access, power Trip Buddy suggestions, connect ShareTab bills to trips, generate public-safe sharing surfaces when you choose them, and improve reliability.
Receipt and expense data can include merchant names, totals, tax, tip, item labels, assignment decisions, settlement status, uploaded images, and linked trip context. Private receipt details are not meant for public pages unless you explicitly choose a public sharing flow.
Public links, recaps, and share pages should use safe summaries and public-facing copy. They should not expose private invite links, private notes, email addresses, private trip IDs, raw receipt details, or settlement details.
If you opt in to marketing or product updates, WerkTrip may use your email preference to send product news, trip-planning tips, feature updates, or launch announcements. You can change marketing preferences from your profile or notification settings when available.
WerkTrip uses cookies and similar session technologies to keep you signed in, protect authenticated pages, and route social sign-in callbacks. Browser controls may affect whether sign-in and saved planner flows work correctly.
Trip Buddy and other AI-assisted features may use the trip context you submit or already saved in the app to draft plans, recommendations, summaries, or captions. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into prompts unless it is necessary for your trip.
You are responsible for content you upload or share, including photos, notes, receipts, and public recap text. Do not upload or publish material that you do not have rights to use.
You can update profile details, adjust notification and marketing preferences, leave trips, remove crew members when you have permission, and delete or update content through the available app controls.
This privacy summary is designed for product clarity and should be reviewed with counsel before relying on it as final legal language for app store, enterprise, or regulated-use submissions.
